SCHOOL INFORMATION

The Salt Lake area or Salt Lake Valley is comprised of twelve different cities as shown on the map of Salt Lake City.  The entire area makes up the boundaries for Salt Lake County.  Davis County boundaries begin at the North end of the Valley and Davis County boundaries begin at the South end of the Valley.  The Salt Lake Valley has four different school districts.

Salt Lake City School District:   http://www.slc.k12.ut.us          The Salt Lake City School District boundaries encompasses all areas East to West from the North city limits to approximately 2100 So. (North boundary of West Valley City).

Murray School District:              http://www.mury.k12.ut.us      The Murray School District encompassess all areas in Murray City boundaries.               

GRANITE SCHOOL DISTRICT:      http://www.granite.k12.ut.us   The Granite School District boundaries encompasses all areas from East to West beginning at approximately 2100 South (North boundary of West Valley City) and extending South to approximately 7200 South (North boundary of Midvale City).  This district includes Salt Lake City, West Valley City and Magna area.

Jordan School District:               http://www.jordandistrict.org   The Jordan District encompasses all areas East to West beginning at the Granite School District boundary (approximately 7200 South) and South to the Utah County border.  This district includes Sandy, Draper, Bluffdale, South Jordan, West Jordan, Riverton and Herriman.
